Dry batch concrete plants provide a little bit more flexibility in terms of how far the concrete can be transported. That means that the concrete can be transported over a much greater distance.

Although products can be added to the mix to slow down the curing time, the total distance over which it can be transported is usually a lot lower than with a dry concrete mixture.

With dry mix plants, there can be slight variations from one load to the next since each batch is mixed individually. In most cases, this isn’t a problem. For applications requiring extreme precision, however, it may be better to use concrete from a wet batching plant.
