The Applications Of The Crusher Machine

The hydraulic crushing machine perform the role of reducing the size of larger rocks into rock dust, gravel or smaller rocks. The crushers are often utilized to reduce either the size, or change a form that waste material is in so that it is easier to recycle or dispose of. The crusher machine is also used to reduce the size of solid mixes of a raw material such as rock ore into pieces made up of different compositions.

Crushing is a type of process that involves transferring force that is amplified by a mechanical advantage using a material that features molecules that are able to bond together strongly, which will resist the deformation, compared to the materials that are crushed. The crushing machines hold the materials between 2 tangent or parallel solid surfaces that apply enough force that bring surfaces together that generates sufficient energy in the materials so that the molecules will fracture (separate) or deformation (change alignment) to each other. Types Of Crusher Machines

1. Jaw Crusher

The jaw crusher machines use a compressive force to break up particles. The mechanical pressure occurs when the 2 jaws on the crusher, one which is fixed and the other which reciprocates. The toggle or jaw crusher is made up of vertical jaws, 1 is stationary, and the other jaw is known as the swing jaw that moves back-and-forth with the use of a pitman or cam mechanism. The cavity or volume between these 2 jaws is known as the crushing-chamber. Inertia needed to crush up the materials comes from the weighted flywheel which moves the shaft and creates the eccentric motion that results in closing this gap.

2. Gyratory Crusher

Gyratory crushers are similar to the basic concepts of the jaw rock crusher screen, and are made up of a conical-head and concave surface, with both surfaces usually lined with a manganese-steel surface. The inner-cone features a circular movement, but doesn’t rotate, and the movements are generated by eccentric arrangements. Similar to the jaw-crusher, the materials travel downwards towards the 2 surfaces that are progressively crushed. The crushing continues until the materials are reduced in size so that they can fall through the gap that occurs between these 2 surfaces.

3. Cone Crusher

Due to the progressive developments in association to the mining technology, cone crushers are divided into 4 types. This includes the gyratory crusher, hydraulic cone crusher, spring rock crushing plant for sale and the compound crusher. According to the model type, the cone crushers are divided up into the VSC series cone crushers, the PY cone crusher, Symons cone crusher, multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers, single-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers and gyratory crushers.

The cone crushers have a similar operation to the gyratory crushers. However, they use less steepness in association to the crushing-chamber as well as an increased parallel zone that occurs between the crushing zones. The cone crushers break up rocks in the way of squeezing the rocks between the eccentrically-gyrating spindle. When rocks enter into the top part of the types of stone crusher machine, the rock wedges, where it is squeezed. The large rocks break once and then fall into a lower position, where they will be broken again.
